The Great Wide Yellow
We have selected and crossed yellow Clivia miniata hybrids to produce seedlings with extra wide leaves and large flower umbels.

These features combine to make a plant that can be appreciated all year long for it's striking luxuriant form. The breeding parents were selected from stock originally developed by Joe Solomone and Keith Hammett and have been chosen because they have leaves of around 10cm wide. We continue to select for compactness and in some cases variegation.
"The Great Wide Yellow" makes for a striking container specimen or garden plant.
